A Pawsitive Light

Youth will have the opportunity to go into the Alexandria Animal Shelter to spend time with the animals and make a difference in their life. They will get the chance to interact with the animals by cleaning them up, taking them for a walk, and getting to know the animal. This activity is twofold, as it will not only be beneficial to the animal but to the youth as well. Once the youth has had the opportunity to interact with the animals, they will create a short biography of the animal to help get them adopted out.
